Two of my early ‘Traces’ images have been chosen to be part of PhotoBath‘s group show in September.
It will be shown at 44AD Gallery, in Bath. The Exhibition’s title is ‘Unfinished‘. Yes, that was my suggestion, but the title was democratically chosen from many others by the members of PhotoBath.
One of the two images has also been chosen to represent the show on Social Media, and also to be exhibited in a larger size.
Yesterday I got the framed images from my usual supplier, Loxley Colour, in Scotland. I am happy with the results. The quality of framing is first class, and the colour is spot on.
I think my imagery has moved forward since these were shot, with more abstraction and (hopefully) more intimacy on the subject matter. Still, I hope I can get some public feedback on the direction during the show.
I am interested both in reactions to the image idea, and how people respond to the Genocide story, which will be featured in handouts.
I should add – some of my images will also feature in PhotoBath’s annual Showcase book.
