Small wins – but I noted before how much I enjoyed shooting the Frome Festival events. It is a little late, but I wanted to record how the local press dealt with the work.
My Scouting for Girls image made the headlines, above, and the local paper carried a three page spread of all of the photos taken by the official group.
Now, I am certainly to holding this up as a paragon of modern layout, but it is comprehensive. And the newspaper is well-circulated, locally.
Several of the acts and bands asked for my images.
I know it’s not a competitive world (!) but almost a quarter of the photographs were mine. I mainly focused on music and theatre events.
Now, if only I got paid per image!
